Golf Claw is ad-supported and uses Google AdMob for ads and measurement.
1. Information We Collect
Golf Claw may collect or process the following information when you use the app:
Email address for account sign-in and account identification.
Golf swing videos and related frames that you choose to record or upload.
Swing analysis results, including score, club, summary, faults, drills, positives, estimated metrics, and history entries.
Player profile labels you create inside the app.
Basic advertising and usage data collected by Google AdMob.
Technical data processed by service providers, such as device identifiers, diagnostics, and network information needed to operate the app.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to provide the app's core features: account access, video-based swing analysis, saved swing history, saved drills, player profiles, troubleshooting, safety, and advertising support for the free app.
3. Video And AI Processing
Golf swing videos or extracted frames may be sent to Google's Gemini API so the app can generate AI swing analysis. Google processes this data according to its own terms and privacy practices. Golf Claw uses the output to show your analysis in the app.
4. Data Storage
Some app preferences are stored locally on your device. Account-related and swing history data may be stored using third-party backend services used by the app. Deleting the app removes local data from your device, but data stored by third-party services may require an account deletion request or deletion from inside the app when available.
5. Third-Party Services
Golf Claw uses third-party services to operate important features:
Google Gemini API for AI swing analysis.
Google AdMob for advertisements.
Supabase or related backend services for authentication and app data storage.
Apple services for App Store distribution and iOS platform features.
6. Advertising
Golf Claw is supported by ads. Google AdMob may collect device identifiers, usage data, and advertising data to provide, measure, and improve ads. You can manage personalized advertising choices in your device settings and through Google's privacy controls.
7. Children
Golf Claw is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
8. Your Choices
You can stop using Golf Claw at any time, delete the app from your device, manage ad personalization in device settings, and contact us to request help with account or data deletion.
9. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information handled by the app, but no internet or mobile service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. Keep your device passcode, Apple ID, and account credentials protected.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as Golf Claw changes. When we do, we will update the date on this page.
